Change It Up

Starting Tuesday as I mean to go on.

The husband invited me to an early morning swim date. How could I possibly refuse?!

A healthy routine is awesome but mixing things up can be a total game changer.

What single change would you like to make this week? Doesn't need to be big. Doesn't need to be forever. Swap one thing for another. Just try it once and see if you like it. Pilates instead of the gym, swim instead of a run, kombucha instead of a soda, salad instead of fries, call instead of text, give it a go instead of telling yourself you can't.

I didn't swim for long - did 20 laps and then soaked for 5 minutes in the hot tub followed by 10 minutes in the sauna. It was total bliss, completely recharged me and I woke up the next day with a little (good) soreness from working my body differently than usual. I'd love to do this once a week, perhaps on Thursdays... we'll see. It's good just to try something different and re-visit it again soon.
